CLUB REP DUTIES
About Your Members
¨ Follow-up with any of your club members who have not paid dues.
¨ Notify 2nd Vice President of any changes to yearbook listings or of any members that are no longer members at your club. Changes include club and email address.
¨ Post NWGA news and information at your club bulletin board and make sure your club members are informed regarding the policies and procedures of the NWGA.
¨ Call each of your club members regarding the opening luncheon. Call club rep handling opening luncheon with names of your club members who will be in attendance. If there is a luncheon and scramble note if your members are participating in one or both.
¨ Call the Sunshine Chairman with any deaths or illnesses of NWGA members at your club so others are informed and cards and/or flowers can be sent on behalf of NWGA.
¨ Distribute yearbooks at beginning of season.
- Distribute balls to winners during the year as directed by the 1st Vice President.
About New Members
Use the schedule provided for board meetings. One week before the summer and fall board meetings, you are to submit new member nominations in writing to the President. Prospective new members must have a USGA index of 16.0 or lower, must maintain it for 8 weeks, and have posted 20 scores in a 12 month period.
Use the form in your notebook to submit new members to the board at the summer and fall board meetings.
About Playdays
Check with you Head Golf pro regarding starting times on your playdays and put out the sign-up sheet on the clubs, if you are not going to be at the playday the week before. Sign-up sheet needs to be put out 30 mins before the first tee time. Arrange to fax to you if you are not participating in the week's golf event.
Members will call for availability of an open spot. Maintain a waiting list if your spots are full.

¨ You’ll get $100 from the treasurer to be used for breakfast items and/or bagboy at your discretion.
After play, fax winners to newspaper on form provided. Prepare the winners sheet for the book. Details on how to determine winners and how many places to list for both individual and team events are included in your notebooks. Follow instructions in order to fill out the sheet.

Fax or e-mail a copy of the winner’s sheet to the next club so it may be displayed on the registration table at the next event so participating members can see the results.
Fax a copy of the sign-up sheet to Ginny Lund at 371-9171.
Mail a copy of each sheet to Debbie McDuffie to be placed in the master book. It should be mailed immediately
after playday.
Board Meetings
Attend all board meetings. If you are unable to attend, your co-club rep should attend in order for your club members to be informed regarding NWGA.
